If you’re an artist who has great art ready to go, but don’t have an audience don’t have a huge social media following, and are looking for a way to sell your art online, make a profit – or just some extra weed money – check out Society6!
You can sign up as an artist for free, upload high resolution art (that’s the easy part, but if you’re stuck, leave a comment and I’ll help out), set up your products, and you’re ready to sell.
They are in charge of making your product and shipping it out to the customer. Obviously they take their cut (there’s a base price for each product + work involved + your markup/profit 🤑) , but that’s a small price to pay for delivering web traffic/buyers to your art for free, and handling all of the productization of everything. Signing up is free, and I recommend it to any artist. Remember, if you’re creating and not showing to the world, you’re doing the world a dis-service.
If that bothers you (and… it shouldn’t, if you’re at all business minded), then think of it as a stepping stone to get your shit in place and earn money while you do so.
